Without relying on rough sketches, he works directly on his art work as soon as an idea forms in his mind.
In recent years, he uses such materials as, steel, stone, terra-cotta and wood, for making his art work for buildings and public spaces.
He frees himself from the traditional restrictions and concepts of a sculpture, and tries to find his own gJapanese aestheticsh with his own original ideas and playfulness.
